Preference PrépaCivile-territory can be read to choose the Canada, France, Belgium or Switzerland presentation. If it is absent or invalid, the default territory is used. It is not used for advertising tracking.
Links to external services
When you follow a link to Amazon, social network or other service, you leave PrépaCivile and consult a service that is subject to its own privacy and cookie rules. The presence of a link does not automatically load this service in computing tools.

Google advertising on the website
Updated November 3, 2026. This section is about the website and completes information on the mobile app. PrépaCivile uses Google AdSense to fund its articles. Locations are identified as "Advertising" and separate from Amazon affiliate links.
Google ads are loaded only after you agree in the advertising choice. Denying does not limit access to articles and tools. You can change your choice or remove it with "My Advertising Choices" at the foot of the page. Your preference is saved locally for 180 days; erase browser data also efface.
Upon agreement, Google and its partners can process the IP address, device information, pages consulted and identifiers or cookies to disseminate and measure ads, prevent fraud and, depending on your choice, customize advertising. These treatments may take place outside Quebec and Canada. Visitors affected by European regulations also have the Google consent message and its options. Refusal in this message may modify or prevent dissemination.
