Making a storage, a plug or a small repair can make the preparation easier to use. For day 11, choose crafts that organize reliable resources. A manufacturing video does not demonstrate that a home product protects health or replaces certified equipment.
Choose a project whose result can be verified
Start with a concrete need and a simple criterion: find a contact, close a pouch or locate the contents of a tray. Prepare tools, a workspace and the storage of small rooms. If you work with children, adapt the material and keep responsible for the actions that can hurt them.

A container already available may be suitable. Check its cleanliness, closures and the use for which it was designed. An ordinary storage bin is not automatically a food or watertight container.
Preparing a box for the vehicle
Gather the items adapted to the trip and the season, then check their storage temperature and their stowage. The box must not become a projectile or prevent access to the necessary equipment. An indispensable item must be able to be reached without unloading the entire trunk in a dangerous place.
The exercise is about organization. It does not justify storing fuel, chemicals or medicines in conditions incompatible with their instructions.
Distinguish between cooking and long-term preservation
You can try a pantry meal or prepare a snack to be consumed according to normal conservation rules. On the other hand, a homemade ration, a very dry biscuit or a vacuum-packed meal does not automatically acquire a duration of several years.
For canning, fermentation or dehydration, use a proven method corresponding to the product. Appearance and taste are not enough to validate safety. A recipe chosen for its low cost must still respect its sanitary conditions.
What a DIY should not replace
An improvised disinfectant may not have the composition necessary for the intended use. A first aid kit can be organized at home, but it contains appropriate equipment; it does not transform its owner into a caregiver.
A Faraday cage does not guarantee the protection of devices if its performance has not been measured under the relevant conditions. Handcrafted burners, candles or stoves add risks of fire and carbon monoxide. They are not the starting projects to remember to light or heat the house.
For lighting, first use a suitable lamp and check its batteries or charging. For water, prepare a potable reserve rather than promising the potability of an artisanal collection.
Documenting the Day 11 Trial
Remember a single project and write down the materials, the time required, the actual cost and the usage limit. Have it tried by another person. If it does not find the object or misunderstands the file, improve the presentation before adding a new project.
