Plan my reserve ▼

Your home, your rhythm

From estimated needs to your next shopping trip.

A food plan, adjustable quantities and a concrete list. Start with 72 hours of food adapted to your home, then explore longer scenarios depending on your space and habits.

A plan of quantities, not a nutritional ration. The starting coefficients are used only to illustrate planning. Their nutritional adequacy is not demonstrated. They do not guarantee sufficient calories or a balanced diet. First set up adapted menus, then adjust each goal, especially for children, allergies and special needs.

01Composition of the household

These categories pilot only the coefficients of the starting profile; they do not calculate physiological needs. Less than one year requires specific planning, not calculated here.

02Your planning horizon

A calculation month is 30 days. Manually entered targets remain fixed when you change the focus or duration, until the starting goals are restored.

No name, email, account or health information requested. No shipment or storage of entries.

Your list by food item

Adapt the plan to your real meals.

Open a category. Adjust the target, indicate your stock and the format sold. Uncheck unused foods. Also complete the category "Your menu": meals, fruits, vegetables and proteins do not receive any automatic goals.

Solids are counted before preparation. For a canned product, use the weight or number indicated on the package, without assimilating to the dry weight of a product. No standard weight is assumed for a can.

This action keeps your inventory, formats and unchecked food.

Calculation method

A transparent method.

For each automatic commodity: target = (persons aged 13 years and over × profile coefficient + children aged 1 to 12 years × profile coefficient) × duration/30 × margin. A manual input replaces this target for this commodity. The objectives expressed in boxes are rounded to the upper box. The gap never falls below zero.

Example with rice: For 2 people aged 13 and over and 2 children, for 30 days, the profile gives (2 × 1.89) + (2 × 0.94) = 5.66 kg. With 2 kg available and bags of 1 kg, 3.66 kg is missing: 4 bags are needed to cover this objective. This does not show that meals or calories in the home are covered.

A pound is 0.45359237 kg; an American gallon is 3.785411784 L. Internal calculations keep these conversions, even when the display is rounded.

Practical next steps

A reserve that can be used daily.

  • Plan non-perishable foods that the household already consumes, as well as a manual can opener.
  • For a power outage, prefer a portion of meals ready to eat or requiring little preparation. Wheat, dry legumes and some cereals require water, equipment and cooking.
  • Check the ingredients and allergens on each package. No automatic filtering of this tool guarantees the absence of allergens.
  • Arrange rotation according to labels and storage conditions. A closed stable product can become perishable after opening.
  • Infants, animals and special medical needs require separate planning. No amount of bleach is calculated in this food tool.

Limitations of the result

The goals per commodity are illustrative and adjustable. They do not validate calories, nutritional balance, or meals in the home. Zero lines remain to be defined; they do not mean that these foods are useless.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this list cover my nutritional needs?

No. The calculator manages quantities per commodity. It does not check calories, proteins, micronutrients, or meal balance. Use your actual menus and adjust the amounts according to your home.

Why do some goals start at zero?

Ready-to-eat meals, fruits, vegetables and canned proteins must be defined from your menu. Zero means "objective to define", not "useful food".

What happens if I already have more than the target?

The shortage is zero and no additional format is proposed for this food. An excess of rice does not automatically compensate for a lack of another food.

Does the CSV remain in my device?

Yes. The file is created and downloaded by your browser. No input to a server is required. CSV columns use kg, L and boxes reference units, even if the screen displays pounds or gallons.

Does the site memorize my inventory?

No. Print or download your list to keep it. Reloading the page restores the settings and erases the entries of this session.
